Hey hey My bees!Here you are my (late) report of my three days spent in Basel,Switzerland,earlier this August.
If you follow me on Instagram,you’ve already seen the pics I shot on the top of the highest bell tower in town.My bro persuaded me to climb 260 steps of a very tight and inaccesible stairway….but it totally worthed it!The view was amazing!You could see the river Rhine split the city in two:the old town and the new town.There is a special small boat who carrys you from a shore to the other and it’s really peculiar cos it’s trained only by the stream,no engine,no oar!(you can see a short video I did here).
One of the cutest thing I noticed were trams,a lot of different lines,maybe 5 or 6,each of its color:red,yellow,green,blue…sooo pretty to see them crossing the streets(but even a little bit dangerous if you’re not used to watch EVERYWHERE when you cross the road.Lucky I’m still alive!)
My fav thing of these few days?The Jean Tinguely exibition with a lot of sculptures and creations of this unconventional swiss artist!
Food was not a special deal for me…I’ve had probably eaten always wiener schnitzel with fries!

Hey hey miei amorini!Eccovi il resoconto(anche se in ritardissimo) dei miei tre giorni passati a Basilea,in Svizzera,all’inizio di Agosto.
Chi mi segue su Instagram avrà già visto le foto che ho scattato dalla cima del campanile più alto della città,dopo aver salito ben 260 gradini di una scala stretta ed impervia…ma ne è decisamente valsa la pena!La vista era spettacolare!Si poteva ammirare il fiume Reno che divide la città nuova da quella vecchia.C’è anche una speciale barchetta con cui passare da una riva all’altra,e la sua peculiarità è quella di non funzionare né a motore né da remi,ma di sfruttare semplicemente il fluire del fiume!(potete vederne un piccolo video qui)
Una delle cose più sfiziose che ho notato sono i tram,organizzati in varie linee,all’incirca 5-6 ed ognuna di un colore diverso:rosso,giallo,verde,blu…sono così carini da vedere sfilare per le strade(ma anche molto pericolosi se,come me,non siete abituati a vederveli sbucare praticamente OVUNQUE quando attraversate la strada.Strano che sia ancora viva!)
La cosa che mi è piaciuta di più?Il museo di Jean Tinguely,pieno di sculture e creazioni di questo artista fuori dagli schemi!
Solo il cibo non mi ha entusiasmato più di tanto…penso di aver mangiato ogni giorno la stessa wiener schnitzel(la nostra cotoletta,per intenderci) con patatine fritte!
Ad ogni modo,se capitate vicino Basilea,vi consiglio di farci un salto!
